Lots of cool photos over at the HAMB, here's a couple from a thread about the history of Los Angeles

That is one great photo.

Very cool socket wrench holder! That's clever!

Craig Breedlove built the Spirit of America in his garage!

This is how many oil derricks there were all over Los Angeles, above in Brea, below in Huntington Beach, 1958

The first the time I have seen a delivery truck in use to deliver when new

Drive by banking?

an addition to the 3 wheel dragster photos found on the HAMB

Above just found on the HAMB thread "History of LA" http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?p=4927350
Above found on http://zelastchancegaragedu78.blogspot.com/

This last photo also found on http://zelastchancegaragedu78.blogspot.com/ but is clearly a different dragster, it's rear engine is a quick clue that other people were trying the 3 wheel design, but in a safer way

Cool stuff from Ze Last Chance Garage

BMW plant 1923

John was catching some light under all four tires

When is the last time you saw advertising for a Nash?
Nice streamlining around the spreader bar

I'd love to see a full gallery about this racecar!

What a beauty!

No idea why the rotary engine is flanked by elephant tusks.

Goofy 60's kooky kustom show cars. I dig the Woodlight headlights on the one below

All bent out of shape, and I doubt it landed on the rubber
What an idea, a scooter that is strong enough to pull a small teardrop
